Honda set for a big 2012

With the not-so-welcomed introduction of the re-designed 2012 Civic, you can be sure that Honda is be back strong in 2012. The car manufacturer is set to release an updated Civic model alongisde a brand-new 2013 Honda CR-V crossover and also a 2013 Honda Accord. You can expect a early releases in 2012 for all of these models except for the 2013 Accord which is set for a little later release.

American Honda Motor Co.’s CEO, Tetsuo Iwamura, predicts that 70 percent of 2012 total sales will consist of 2013 models. Iwamura believes that Honda’s big three (the Civic, Accord and CR-V) will also dominate the market.

On top of the re-designed vehicles, Honda also has a few other tricks up their sleeve. They plan on introducing six new engines and also three new continuously variable transmissions (CVTs), debuting with the 2013 Accord.
